This hose is heavy. coupled with the fact that's it's expands as you pull it (so that it saves space on storage) and that suction works against that expansion results in a product that is constantly working against you. Also in photo of product a dyson DC08 or similar is shown. It is not possible to attach it with that hoover without liberal use of duck tape (gaffer tape). Even then it manages to loose so much suction that it's pointless. The only use I keep it for is for using on power tools where loss of suction doesn't bother me much.
You might want to try it but keep packaging handy as u may end up sending it back....

I recently bought this product - what a lifesaver! Instead of standing halfway up the stairs with one knee keeping my upright vacuum cleaner on the stair and trying not to fall backwards whilst doing so, this has made life so much easier as it can now easily reach the top of the stairs whilst the vacuum cleaner stands on the hall-floor.
The only minor niggle is that it is quite a heavy piece of tubing, but that's probably to be expected given the sheer length it extends to. All in all worth every penny.
