I read the reviews and bought this because of the suction
thumbs-up.
It sucks like a twister on heat, if possible I would award
it 7 out of 5.
It is so easy to use along with the easy instructions, it's
small, neat and convenient to store.
Years of ingrained dust in my carpet is now cleaned out, after
other vacuums failed miserably to make an impact.
Anyone who suffers from dust allergies should consider buying
this because this baby is the pocket battleship of vac's.

I bought this for use in my caravan and it is excellent. Picks up dog hairs a treat and reaches into those parts a wider one won't reach. Having brought it home for the winter I have been using it on the stair carpet and it is great. I have a Dyson Animal which is an absolute pain to use on the stairs, the attachment for the stairs is awful - Although it works well on the 'flat'. The Electrolux is not an 'over designed' and 'over priced' piece of kit. It just works, WELL Oh, I forgot, it's equally good in the car and has a good long cable.
